Unpublished a site but could not use the same domain name on a different site

Hi there, I unpublished a site and wanted to use the same domain name on a different site that I've created but it doesn't allow me to publish. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Hi @AlexC I don't see that site assigned to any of your websites. What's the site title it was assigned to and what is the site title you are trying to add to? Thanks for the clarification!

Hi Bernadette, I deleted the original site after I duplicated it and unpublished it.

The original site title is the same as the one I’ve published In the interim using alexchai2019.weebly until I can publish with my own domain name again “Commercial Fitout - Space and Furniture Solution Consultant” hope that clarifies it

You're seeing this because several years ago we changed our policies so using a custom domain name requires the site to be upgraded. If someone was already using a domain with the site, we let them continue to do so as long as they didn't un-publish or try to change the site address to a different domain. I've temporarily added the "Connect" plan to the site so I could set the site address back to your domain. Let me know once you've published and I can remove that; it should let you continue publishing afterward like you were able to do before (although you will be prompted to upgrade with any other site, and with this one as well if you un-publish or change the address).
