Trying to darken the colors on Home Service About and Contact tabs

Hello All,

I am new to this and apolize in advance if anything is not pronounced properly.

i chose a theme and the Home, Service, About and Contact tabs

were at the bottom of the page. it allowed me to move it up top but now I am trying to darken the colors on Home Service, About and Contact tabs. I cannot get the navigation bar to drop down and I really do not want to lose all the work that I have done on this page already by choosing a different theme. Can anyone help
