Theme Feature: Columns instead of Wide page feature.
I am looking for a theme that will allow me to create columns for my blog instead of the single, wide paged feature. I was told it was possible to have columns, but I can't figure it out. I was told certain themes allow this feature but I don't know the icon that would indicate such a thing. Does anyone know?

Blog pages are a little different than standard pages, in that you won't be ble to drag elements anywhere you want to the page. Most blogs have a sidebar that you can drag content to, though, which might get you closer to what you'd like.
The option to turn the sidebar on or off is found in Settings > Blog.

Yes, but why isn't there a column element so that I can add columns of text within a theme? I can't seem to change the text box width to even make my own columns.

Columns are created automatically when you drag one element next to another element. This guide in our Help Center covers that if you look about half-way down the article:
