Preview thumbnail not working right for home page

When I make a post to anywhere I usually have an image in it. I want that image to show up as the thumbnail preview when I post on Facebook and LinkedIn. However, right now, it shows the image down in the homepage and not the site identy. Anyone know what's going on?

It's possible you need to run the site through the Facebook debugger. The scrape tool almost always clears this up. However, I believe in order for Facebook to "see" your image it cannot be a background image and needs to be at least 200x200px in size.

If you know what what image you want to use you can add an OG Image Tag to your SEO Header section. Click on Settings>SEO> then paste the following into the Header area. Make sure to click Save & Publish.

<meta property="og:image" content="http://ia.media-imdb.com/images/rock.jpg" />

(make sure to change the url to your image url) If you let me know what image you want I can let you know what it is. Smiley Happy

Facebook says the image is too small. You need to resize it to be 200x200px

Ohh... @Farm_her78 I bet it's your theme. It's probably one that restricts the size of the logo. Try uploading your image to a hidden page and use that url for the og tag.

I made you a hidden page. Click on Pages>Hidden then add an Image element to the page and upload your logo. Publish the site and navigate to http://www.nebraskabushpullers.com/hidden.html

Use the inspector tool to grab the url then go back to the editor and replace the new url in your og tag.

Yay, glad to help! You might have to play around with the dimensions and test how it shows up on FB end.
