Site Editor: Element Icons are Suddenly Stacked

The content elements (Title, Text, Image, etcl) in the left-hand column of my site editor are now stacked one on top of the other rather than paired in groups of two. Resizing the window does not change it. Can someone explain why this happened and how to return to the default content element arrangement? Thank you

Are you zoomed in or out in your browser, @OTSHA? I've seen that happen when zooming out. Resetting to 'actual size' usually resolves it.
