Seriously considering jumping ship...

I chose Weebly's Business Plus plan because it seemed competitive in the market at the $63 price point. So far I've got nothing but buyer's remorse.

To start, integrating Facebook pixel is no easy task.

It seems easy, but it doesn't actually work right out of the gate without a struggle. I still don't have it working properly so that I can track conversions and know which ad sets are benefecial.

I don't even want to try Google Analytics tracking at this point.

Second, email marketing is a paid addon. I'll take some responsibility for that one and own up to not reading further into the terms before buying. I can't speak to whether or not the service is worth it, because right now I'm not willing to fork over more money to find out after the experience I've had up to this point.

Third, announcement banners. WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY YET AGAIN ANOTHER ADDED MONTHLY FEE FOR A THIRD PARTY ADDON TO IMPLEMENT SOMETHING AS SIMPLE AS AN ANNOUNCEMENT BANNER AT THE TOP OF MY STORE TO LET CUSTOMER KNOW THEY GET FREE SHIPPING ON ORDERS OVER A CERTAIN AMOUNT.

This issue has been brought up and suggested since 2016. Nothing has been done about it.

So far, all I'm seeing is a money grab.

And customer service, I won't say it's bad, because I haven't gotten a response yet. But the fact that it's approaching the 24 hour mark, and I haven't received a response yet given the fact that I'm a paid customer, paying for the highest plan you offer, speaks volumes.

Weebly, you have 24 hours to sell me on why I should stay. My plan is set to renew on the 21st. I'll be cancelling at this time tomorrow (the 20th) otherwise.

Thanks for posting and for your feedback. Adding Google analytics is actually really easy because you don't need to do anything other than paste your tracking code in Settings > SEO > Header Code (or Footer Code, if you prefer). What is your Facebook tracking pixel currently doing?

Right at this very moment it tracks everything on the website other than the cart, whether it's the drawer that pops out when you click the menu button, or the full cart page. I can't track when someone clicks the checkout button on either of them. It doesn't seem to see the pop-out drawer cart at all, I can't add that checkout button, and even though I've gone through the process multiple times of selecting the checkout button on the cart page for tracking, it's not showing on the Facebook side of things. I don't know if it's the particular theme that I'm using or what's causing it.

Hmm... Nothing is really jumping out at me as to why those particular events aren't tracking. Have you tried asking Facebook? They might have better insight about how or why it won't track on those pages or events.

I've got my Facebook pixel code in the right place, right?

That looks fine to me and would add it to all pages of your site. There are some fields in Store settings for adding tracking code to specific parts of the checkout process, though. This post is a few years old, but you can still try what was shown there to see if it works.

The issue is that Facebook has a very easy and amazing tool to walk through setting up trackable events with their pixel. For whatever reason, the receipt and payment pages never seem to work. Yes, there is a separate area in checkout section to add the tracking pixels, but Facebook doesn't tell you how to handle this scenario and your tools aren't helpful either. This should be way easier and is instead a huge problem. I've run amost $300,000 in sales in one month through your square weebly e commerce platform and this is the straw that has now broken and will be causing us to jump ship to shopify. I need to be able to track purchases via Facebook's Pixel.

Can you try the solved answer in THIS post, @station? I believe Mike and others confirmed that they were able to track sales with his method.

TOTALLY agree. I started with the free plan to feel it out and that fact that we cant have a shop within Facbook alone means i will never upgrade to a paid plan.
