Scribd not working today
Hi! Scribd documents are not showing on my sites today - help!! I am a teacher and during this online learning season I desperately need my stuff to show for my students...is there an issue? Have tried on Chrime and Edge so not a browser problem...

and

were there yesterday - in fact I uploaded successfully yesterday
today it says Scribd is processing your upload then goes blank
Is this Weebly or Scribd problem?

I had the same problem and left messages with both Weebly and Scribd, though I have not yet had any reply. Meanwhile I tried adding the POWr app for file embedding - it works just fine, so I won't have to suffer Scribd any more.

I thought I had a solution - to use the POWr plug-in - but I spoke too soon.
I find that documents take forever, and I don't mean when editing your site - that could be forgiven - I mean when users view your site. Most users will have given up waiting before a document appears.
So it is back to square one.

I have finally found a decent solution. Convert your document to JPG - one page per image. Then the images display immediately without needing Scribd or POWr. So I say "To Hell with the lot of them!"
I just have to check with colleagues that the images display well on all devices.

Weebly Customer Services have sent me an email saying they "don’t have an ETA for when Scribd will have this fixed".
I am grateful for confirmation that someone is trying to solve the problem but I really think it's time Weebly ditched Scribd, as they seem to be an unsatisfactory partner.

Hi,
I have a question. I have ads through an ad network as a publisher, now running on my Weebly site which is currently at the Professional plan.
However, I am not on track to earn enough money that would cover the monthly cost. Since I am still in my 30-day trial, can I have a refund?
I already purchased the domain separately for the year. The only question I have is: will I still be able to run ads a publisher through an ad network with a free-site plan and will I still have the domain since I already purchase that separately for the year?

I don't see any technical reason why you couldn't still run your ads, although you might want to contact your ad provider for clarification on whether they care if your site address changes. The domain will remain valid for the year, though without a site upgrade you won't be able to use it as the address of the website. Did you want me to cancel and refund your site upgrade?

At last Scribd is working again after more than a week - at least it's working for my site.
However I've lost confidence in Scribd, so I'll stick to using alternative methods.

Would be good if Weebly could report back on the cause and the liklihood of reoccurance
