Hi,
Is there a way to possibly remove the black menu bar on the mobile version of this website?
nickthompsonclarinet.com
If there was a way that only the 3 line menu button appeared, that would great. Because at the moment, the black bar cuts off the top of the picture. Not sure if there is a way around this...
Thanks so much!

Hi
No problem Find the requested menu in html (hamburger, mobile-menu or something similar)... Check it's name and then in CSS file define it - display: none;
If you are using a template which is not for mobile devices, try adding some @Media files to your CSS - using always - display: none; for hiding it.
If you need more help I need to see your site.
Bye

Hello Nick!
Where the menu bar is concerned, if you want it removed only on mobile, you'd want to use custom theme code, which wouldn't be something I could advise you on directly. If you aren't experienced with such things, it may be easier to look into either using a theme that doesn't have the navigation laid over the image, or moving the main content of the image down a bit to ensure it retains focus.

Sadly I can't move the image down anymore. are there any other themes similar to mine that don't have the menu bar overlay the image?

There's a big black bar when I open my categories on iPad. It shows over the text in the category.
You can look at www.jeannette-gems.com.
Please help, this is not something to show.
Thanks,
Jeannette

This is a suuuuuper old thread, @Jeannette. I see a Category page in your navigation, but don't see the black bar error you are describing. Can you please post a screenshot? Thanks!
