Remove header from ONE page

Hi,

Is there a way I can remove the header of my site on just one page? I need to do this as it would then make it more printable. However, when I clik on Remove Header it removes for the entire site.

@justmee: First select the page you want to change.  Then go to pages.  Slect the page and change page type to ne-header/

I've tried doing that but it changes the pages on the entire site even though I'm actually in the Page section of the Page I want to change!

Go to the Pages tab and click on the page you want to change, then change the header type for that page to "No Header". That should only hide it from that page.

Every page on the site has the header switched off. so it is the logo that needs to be removed on just one page. Or am I going about this all wrong?!

Oh! It's the site logo and not a header section/image? That would need to be hidden from that page via CSS changes. Are you familiar with CSS?

Yes sorry, you're right. I thought it was the header but then when replying to you I realised it wasn't! 

I am not too familair with CSS but if it's simple I know how to make changes on the site. Would it simply be a copy and paste thing I could put in?

What you're describing here could likely be copied and pasted in. Bear in mind, though, that code can be very tricky, as even a single character off can make everything act very strange. You may want to read up on a guide ahead of time.

I just changed to a new theme and I didn't realise that I would be stuck with the header picture from the example on every one of the many pages on my website. It seems that I can only remove the headers from each page in turn, and this is going to take me hours! How did you manage to delete all the headers at one go? That's just what I want to do but I cannot find out how to do it.

Hello Lamsdorf!

There have been some changes to how headers work, so the answer may depend on what theme you're currently using. With modern themes, you'll be able to click to edit the background, then click Advanced, and use the Save to More Pages function to pick what pages you'd like your content to be saved across.

That was one of the things I tried, but it didn't make any difference, frustratingly.

Which site are you having trouble with, @Lamsdorf? I could try saving your blank header to all of the pages of your site for you, if you'd like.
