Redirect from header to file
Hello, on my weebly website I have a header ("H1") and I would like H1 to open a file at "https://mywebsite.weebly.com/uploads/myfile.pdf". I know how to link to this file in the section or embed the file in the web-page, but is there a way I can get the link in the title bar to open to it directly?
Thank you very much!

Hi @TaurVil How did you add the H1 title? With an embed code or app? It might be helpful if you post a link to the site you are referring to. Thanks!

I just added a new page through the Weebly page editor GUI [edit site > Pages > "+"], which is the only way I know to get something to appear on the list of pages in the title. Instead of linking to a templated page, I want to link to a PDF file (but still appear next to the other pages).
For more case-specific details, the web page I'm trying to do this for is vilgalys.weebly.com. I want to include a pages tab "CV" (next to the current links for "Home", "Research", "Software & Protocols") which opens "https://vilgalys.weebly.com/uploads/1/1/6/4/116483361/vilgalys_cv.pdf". Thank you!

If you want a link in your navigation to open that PDF file, choose the "External" option for a new page on the Pages tab and use the URL of your PDF file as the address it will link to.
