Poor Image Quality

Does anyone else feel disappointed in the way all images are degraded when uploaded into the weebly sites? As a photographer I need my images to be absolutely sharp and crisp.  I have researched the correct sizing and DPI to get the highest quality images, yet all my images look soft on the website.  The worst are when I try to use them in a slideshow format.  Anyone have this problem or have a solution?

My site for reference www.mollyhensley.com

@mhensley:  They look fine to me.  It seems that you are using very big images even when the image size you are using is small.

Having said that if you do need very high quality images you may want to consider a separate image hosting provider.

Hey Boba, do you have any guide or something to help me get started on that?

Our engineers are looking into what our quality option are with the software we're using for image processing. I'm not sure right now what the status of that is, although I would expect that they will go with the best quality option we can get that will still perform well on a site.

I'll see if I can find out, @shpoont; I haven't heard anything about it yet.

I am also having this issue with my weebly site, and considering switching to Adobe Portfolio. The images on my weebly site are degraded and resized to around 1100 pixels. It would be better if they were at least around 1920x1080 to fit an HD screen.

thanks
