No Preview Images Loading for Social Media

Hello everyone, I did some digging to try to figure this out on my own but the only solution I came across is extremely labor intensive (editing every single item page in my shop one-by-one; that's dozens) so I'm hoping someone can suggest a more universal fix.

The problem I'm encountering is that when I share my item pages to Twitter and Facebook, the product image does not load as part of the link preview. No image loads, in fact. I used the Facebook debugger tool on one item page and it delivered the following errors:

Inferred Property

The 'og:image' property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.

Missing Properties

The following required properties are missing: og:image, fb:app_id

The only solution I've seen that might fix this is to add a meta tag to every page, editing it to point to each product image. This is just too much for me to fathom doing, especially after spending the past several days getting everything set up in the first place.

Is there something more simple I can do to make this work? Thanks in advance for your help.

I am not using facebook    but regarding Twiiter, you need to manually add 'twitter cards'       this is a bit of code, from TWITTER, that will display a linked image when u tweet.    I have been using this successfully for 12 months now

Thanks for sharing! I love your detailed posts. Unfortunately, the instructions provided will not work for @StudioMikarts at this time. We have an open bug for product links not showing the proper og image when shared. I don't have an eta to provide, but it is something that the teams are working on. Thanks in advance for your patience.
