Newsletter Element Questions

I have just entered a newsletter element to my website.  Is there a way to automatically send a welcome email to those that sign up with that element? 

Also, I am wondering how to send periodic email newsletters to those subscribesr at later dates.

Hi,

The newsletter element has an option which let you choose to send a welcome message or to take the subscriber to a page on your website. Is this what your looking for?

I use mailchimp (free) for suscription to newletters and other stuff. My visitors can subscripe to automatically receive new blog posts and newletters (also a blogpage on my site). Mailchimp give you the possibility to send on specified times and days everything that you have posted on your blogpages that week. Once you have created your campaigns, everthing is send automatically and Mailchimp gives you insight into the behavior concerning reading, opening links et cetera. Really awsome.And is is free, so why bother...

Can you explain how to use it on a Weebly Website?  I guess I'm a little confused.

I have actually heard of Mailchimp and I am open to using it.  But, I can't even find the list of who has signed up to receive my newsletter.  When I click on "View Entries" on the newsletter form, nothing happens
