So suddenly my navigation bar had disappeared. The submenus are their when you hover the mouse over it but the menu isn't showing.
This happened a few weeks ago the first time, and I had to start again with my theme. First at the customer service I was told it was looking fine at their end. That the problem was my computer. Then a few days after, as the problem continued I was told I need to reload your original theme to fix it. I did. And then after every change in the CSS code I checked and it worked fine. Minor changes (button colours and blog read more text) . All has been fine a couple of weeks and and then suddenly now the nav bar disappeared even though I haven't made any changes!
This is the answer I got from Weebly customer service : "The thing with changing the code is it can work fine one day and break the next as we are always doing updates. You will want to re-apply the standard theme to remove any coding or go through the code to see what is causing the issue. Unfortunately we are not able to troubleshoot nor assist with issues caused by custom coding"
REALLY??? How can the site suddenly not work with the edits I've made if it has been working fine for past few weeks????
"Weebly is a simple drag and drop builder and not really made to use custom coding on, the option is there and you can alter the code but it is not recommended and we are not able to troubleshoot any issues that are being caused by the custom code. If you change back to a standard theme and the issue is no longer there then it is indeed an issue with the custom code that was added."
