Members who's name consist of a period issue
Hi! My website has over 1300 users. We imported these via CSV with no issues. Some of the name fields have a period after their middle initial. (Example: "Smith,John D.123").
Where i'm encountering a problem is once they've been imported and I access "John's account" before I can save the account after making a change I get a "invalid name" error message.
After messing around I found that if I remove the "." it allows me to save.
My question is why would it allow me to import the periods as apart of the name field but not allow me to keep it when I need to edit something within that users account? This isn't crucial so to speak as it doesn't affect the email but was curious...
Thank you!

The report was passed up to our team earlier today, so they'll be getting to the bottom of things, and following up with any details.
