Make category only visible for administrator

Hi I have made some categories to sort articles, which are only meant to be seen by me. However, these categories show as a filter if customers use the search option. Is there a way to make the categories not visible?

Can you give us an example of a term you are searching? I think I understand what you mean, although I'm not sure if this is something that can be changed. Do you want to hide categories completely from showing on the page? When you say they are only for you, do you mean for store management on the backend?
