Loading Fonts

Hello all,

I am loading the Carrois Gothic google font in the Header Code section of the dashboard, however if I look at source after publishing then Carrois Gothic is loaded again along with Raleway and Alice (neither of which are in use that I can see). Please can anyone tell me how to remove these? They aren't in the Header Code section of the dashboard, so have no idea where they are coming from....

I think those are being added dynamically based on the font choices you have in Theme > Change Fonts. I'm not sure there's really a way to prevent that. Is Carrois Gothic a font option in Change Fonts? I can't remember.

Thanks for getting back to me BJ. I don't think Carrois Gothic is a theme font, but Raleway and Alice are. If I deselect them from the Theme options then that might prevent them being loaded?

That might be the case if you switch various theme font choices to some which all computers usually have, like Times New Roman. Otherwise I think it will probably always load some fonts.

I had them all switched to "Default" but the Raleway, Alice etc fonts still seem to dynamically load. Interesting.

Huh... maybe those are the default fonts for the theme.

They must be. Irritating that I can't remove them (or haven't as yet come up with a solution myself at any rate) since they are adding to my mobile page speed insight issues!
