Link that doesn't exist anymore and isn't referenced on page shows up on dead link report

Hello - 

I just ran a dead link checker on my website and this shows up (third item on list below).  This link shows as originating from our home page https://www.oaregion1.org/.  But, there is no such link on our home page.  We used to have a page with the URL, and I just set up a redirect for it, but this is still showing up as a dead link.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Hi, @BeverlyM. Is the link checker only using links found on your site itself, or does it pull from other sources like Google? It doesn't show where on your site the link is, does it?

Hello Adam, 

This particular link checker doesn't check back links.

I ran the check again, and it appears that it may have just taken a day or so for the redirect to register...that particular link is no longer showing up.

I love it when things fix themselves!
