Known issues with Chrome?

I am unable to edit my site.  When I try to click on any design element like a photo or title to move or edit it, nothing happens.  The item isn't highlighted, no menu bars show up, no outline appears... nothing happens.  I've had no issues lately.  This suddenly started yesterday. I've logged out and back in.  Also restarted my whole laptop. Still happening.

I've heard a couple people bring this up. Can you first check what version you are using and can you also try opening an Incognito window?

Did u try clearing ur cookies/browser history? There is a new up date Chrome 76..    but   on google play its strangely not available.   Yet.

Hm.. I'm using the exact same version as you, @md2016re and it is working okay for me. There must be something more we are missing. Can you take a full screenshot of your browser window with the editor open?

Here's a screenshot.  Today the header is showing an edit box so I could at least update that text, but any text on the actual page still doesn't show a edit/dialog box for me to change anything. And when I click on the screen, it takes me to another page like the blog or something that isn't actually linked anywhere near from where I clicked. 

I cleared cookies and browsing data and that didn't help.

What's even more fascinating is that, in the screenshot, there is an edit box around the "Banks St" text, but that was not showing up on my screen.  So very strange and I know you all think I'm crazy or stupid.

Well, I changed theme and was able to edit.  Solved for now..

I'm coming across this issue within Build (Site Editor), I click on "Pages" and "Edit Page" doesn't do anything. All I want to do is update an image of a Product we're selling on our site. This shouldn't be so trivial.

Things I've tried: 

-Cleared cache

-Check if Chrome is up to date.

-Use up to date browsers such as Chrome, Firefox and Safari.

Thanks for posting, @thekatwok. If you go to Items > Item Library, are you able to edit and change the image of your product there?

I cant edit my page with chrome, it colla[ses the image to the top left corner of the screen

It works with microsoft edge

yet it worked ok on chrome before

A recent update to Chrome caused that, @minus40fc. Our engineers are working on it as well as Google's engineers, so hopefully it will be resolved soon. In the meantime, using a different browser is the best approach.
