Hi ,
There is a concept of line spacing in Microsoft Word. One can set line spacing at 1, 1.15, 1.5, 2 and so on. Can line spacing be similarly done in Weebly's text editor.
As an example, please take a look at Weebly's own articles on Inspiration Center and Blog section. The line spacing is just the right. A higher line spacing makes the text more easliy readbale.
On the blogs that I write using Weebly editor, the text element does not seem to have option of selecting line spacing and the text lines seem to be a bit closer.
Can we do this in Weebly? Do other Weebly users feel a need for adjustable line spacing. Can anyone please
guide?
Thank you.

Hi @SGI,
You actually do have control over the 'line-height', you can modify this for each text type inside:
THEME > Change Fonts > 'Select the type you want to adjust' and modify its line-height value.
Fixing Line Height for paragraph text
Hope this helps you out.

I have tried that but it keeps reverting to default without making any change to the text.

Since the site is responsive, I have a section where there are 4 columns. There's a list of phrases, some phrases drop the the next line but the line height is the same as the next phrase. How could I fix this?

Hello,
I had this problem, but the line spacing solution you describe only seems to work for the first page on the website, not for the other pages. Is there a solution that works for all pages?
Many thanks!

Line-height settings for specific elements should apply to those elements on any page you've added the elements to. Are you pasting in text to any of these elements where it doesn't work? If so, try selecting the text in the element and using the Tx button on the text editing toolbar. That will strip out any hidden styling in pasted text which might be preventing those styles from being applied.

I get no height adjustment option when trying to change Image Caption text. I would like to tighten. Does the font selection have anything to do with it, currently Maven Pro.

I don't believe we have a line-height option specifically for image caption text, @mapperou, so you'd need to customize the CSS of your site's theme if you want to reduce the line-height. Are you familiar with HTML and CSS? I wouldn't recommend doing this unless you are well familiar with both since our support team can't assist with custom HTML and CSS issues.

What if I wanted to have one page or text box with custom line spacing and all the others with auto line spacing. How would I do that?

I'm not sure there's a way to do that without doing some custom CSS on that page, although maybe you could search the App Center for an app that has some text options to control line height within the app element.

Hey, I tried doing that, but my line-height changes only in the desktop view not in small devices (mobile devices). How can I do that in the mobile device version?
Thank you.

You'd probably need to customize your theme for that, @Jitesh, although it's hard to say without knowing which of your sites you are changing it with.

Thanks. If you go to the Theme tab and click on Change Fonts, there should be line spacing option for most of the font choices you see there.

Hi I am having a great deal of trouble with this line spacing issue as well. I tried going into theme, paragraph text, and increasing the line spacing; however, it does not change my existing text. I tried highlighting the text, but as soon as I click into the theme tab, the text unhighlights. I have had points deducted from my assignment and for this matter and am at a loss on what to do!

Hi @gilleys10196 Sorry to hear you are having trouble with your site!
If you had previously edited the existing text using the black font bar the settings will override the default settings under Theme > Change Fonts. I believe you can fix this by highlighting the edited text and clicking the little "Tx" button to remove the formatting.
