How to automatically get the same color in each section on the same page

Is there a way to automatically choose the same background colour for a section as other sections in the same page? I'm having trouble because when I add a section it allows me to change the colour from plain white to anything I want, but I can't get it to easily match the previous sections without trying to "pick" the colour from thousands in the pallet on colour picker. I have a nice blue or green and then I spend great amounts of time trying to "pick" the same blue and I can't get it to match exactly.

I'm guessing I'm just missing something simple.

don't choose the color from pallete.  Use the hexcode option.  Same hexcode with give you same color.  Then on the otherhand if yoy want same color, why do you create new section?  Just use the same section.  It will automatically adjust the height.
