How to access list of files that I have uploaded to my site
How do I access the list of files that I have uploaded to my site? There are thousands of these files that I offer to my membership subscribers to download.
There are many more .pdf files than I can see in the file dialog box, and I need to be able to manage them - delete duplicates, for example. Is there a way to get into the file storage area from the site editor?

We don't currently have a file manager so there isn't a way to view a list or manage files you've uploaded. You can go to Settings > General within the website editor an export an archive of your site. That'll contain all the files you've uploaded, so you could use that to compile of list of files you want deleted. If you provide that list to our support team they can remove the files.

Adam, thank you, as always, for your reply. I was hoping there would be another way to access the stored files.
Unfortunately, I am not able to create an archive for my site. I have tried, and several chat techs have tried, but creating an archive has failed each time. After I download the archive .zip file from the link that appears under the "settings" heading, I always receive the message that it can't be opened because the file is invalid.
I know my site is quite big, and the archive file takes 20 minutes to download, but it shouldn't matter that the site is large, should it? So I am left without an archive, as well as no back-stage way to control the many files that my subscribers need to access.
Do you have any suggestions for a work-around?
Susan

Hi Susan. It looks like a rep confirmed earlier this week that the site is experiencing a bug with the archive. You'll be updated via email once the engineers have found a resolution.
Unfortunately, I don't know if there's any other way to view the files that have been uploaded other than linking to a file and viewing the list of previously uploaded files. If you do this through an item description you will see the info in a larger box compared to the popup you see in the editor.
Click on Items>Item Library and add a new item (or edit one of your listed items). Type something in the short description, then highlight and click the link icon. Change the dropdown to "file" then click on the box that says "search existing files". A list of all the files you uploaded will appear, or you can search by key word. You can keep a list of files you need to delete as Adam suggested, and then you can submit the list to support with a request to delete.

How do I get a list of my uploaded files? Then I can tell you which to delete.
Why in the world is there not a file manager? Don't the words CMS mean Content Management System?

There isn't really a way to get a list of your uploaded files, but I've merged this conversation to another thread where Bernadette offers a workaround that may help you out.
