How do I add a simple comment/question/answer section?

I would like to add a simple comment section, whereby I create the first entry inviting visiters to comment or ask questions. What is best way?

I created a blog page and published; then went to the live page. I did not see any buttons with which to add to the blog to make a comment. Perhaps the blog is not the right tool? Please advise.

The blog would work well for what you want, although the commenting features are on the blog post page and not on the main blog page itself. I would hide your main blog page from your site navigation, then add another page that uses the External Link option and links to the blog post page itself (the page that loads when you click on the post title on the main blog page).

First of all, thank you for your reply.

The remedy is a little confusing for me.

When my attempt failed, I hid the blog page that I created from site navigation. So that's done. √

What other page would I add that uses the External Link option?  The blog post page? How is that done?

Where do I find the External Link option? (I checked the Build menu but did not see it).

I am sorry, I don't have a handle on your solution. Is there any clarification you can give or is there a tutorial?

Sorry for the confusion, @orb, I probably didn't explain it very well. Try these steps:

1. Go to your blog page on the live site.

2. Right-click on the title of your post and copy the URL

3. In the editor, go to the Pages tab

4. Add a new page, and choose the external option.

5. Paste in the URL that you just copied for that.

6. Find your original blog page on the pages tab, click on it, then check the option to hide the page from your navigation.

7. Drag your newer page up to the same spot in your navigation

8. Re-publish.
