Hey @Tracy! What site did you need help with and what image was it that you lost your padding on?

it's saintjohnmedicalclinic.com

Its the main top image, I replaced it with one of my own images and then stupidly deleted the Headline field. Smiley Sad

I added back the headline element for you, though you'll want to enter your text again. For header sections, if you add a title element to it then it becomes a headline as opposed to just a regular title element (a text element becomes a subheadline element).

If you want to make that taller click in the background, the click and drag the small blue dot at the bottom of the image.

Hi Adam,

Do you have instructions on how to make the headline narrower? I have tried doing a search in the css for 'headline' but nothing comes up, so I can't work out how to change the width…

Thanks.

Hmm... Changing the letterspacing is possible via CSS, though you might try changing the font to something narrower first on the Theme tab. I think there might be some similar looking fonts that are a little narrower.

Thanks Adam, I realise from your reply that I used the wrong term 'headline'.
What I meant was the coloured rectangle that sits under the headline text. I have not been able to find a way to change it's width using css, probably because I don't know what it's called.

Thanks!

Hi @Emiliania Did you un-publish your website? I want to make sure I understand what you mean.

Hi Bernadette Smiley Happy,

No, I didn't unpublish the site, in fact I'm just starting to build the site.

What I did:

1.  I accidentally deleted (what I now realise is called) the headline

2.  So I am using the field called the sub-headline (sorry for confusion calling it 'headline' in all previous posts). (As we know) the subheadline field is text.

3.  The theme came with a rectangular picture about a quarter of the way down the page. My boss hates pictures, so I deleted the picture and made it into a grey box. However, I want to change the width of the grey box/picture which is sitting under the sub-headline field…

Hopefully this is clear…

Thanks!

...........................

Just realised the grey box is the theme's header. So now my question is: Is there a way to change the width of the header?

Thanks

..............................

My workaround is to choose 'no header' and then insert a color box (which is the correct width) and put a 'title' box over it

You'd need to customize the theme of the site in order to change the width. Your workaround is exactly what I'd recommend, though.

Hi Adam,

I have a similair problem. On www.weswitch.nl the 'Hoe werkt het' lay-out title is a normal title. I can not get it as a headliner, tried everything. All the other pages have a headliner, so the lay-out is different.

Could you please assist. Many thanks in advance!

Mark

It looks like your "Hoe werkt het" page is using the "no header" page type, whereas your other pages are using "header". If you switch to the header page type it should let you add a headline.
