Glitch: Blog posts appearing in wrong Blog Archives month.

I recently realized that all of the blog posts I've put up on the first of any month aren't appearing under that month's section in the Blog Archives sidebar area. Instead, they're showing up in the previous month for some inexplicable reason.

For example: a blog post from August 1st, 2016 only appears under the month of July 2016, same for a post from January 1st, 2016, which appears only under December 2015.

It's a really annoying bug and I can't seem to figure out how to fix it, no matter how many times I update the published date for each individual post.

Any thoughts, tips, or ideas?

Which of your sites are you seeing this with, @BlackBolt? I'll take a look.

I first noticed it on --

But then I did a test, and it is happening on all three of my sites.

I have the same problem. My November 1 post was put under October archive. I end up here searching for a way to fix it.

What time zone are you guys using for your sites on the settings tab? I'm wondering if site archives are using UTC or PDT, and posts created just close enough one way or the other might be getting lumped into the wrong month because of the difference in time.

EST for me. I didn't notice this before, if that helps. I'm certain it wasn't a problem until recently. I don't know what "triggered" it, if anything could have. I believe I did edit the date of a few posts recently though (including changin one to the first of the month), but I don't know if that could have somehow caused it to happen.

Ok, can you provide me with a link to an example post on your site? I'll take that to our engineers to look into.

^ Here is my blog's archive page for July 2016. The post at the top is listed as August 1st, but for some reason appears on the July page.

^ There's the blog post itself that is effected.

Thanks for the example. Our engineers will investigate and see what the cause might be - thanks for your patience!

Any info? It has been two weeks now and I'm still seeing these problems. Hopefully the issue gets resolved soon.

Not yet, although we often don't necessarily hear much while something is being worked on. Thanks for your patience!

I have had a similar issue.  In my blog page audio files that I uploaded have duplicated themselves into other blog entries.  I am concerned that the result has caused me to lose audio files.

Here are two examples: These should not be the same audio as we uploaded two different messages.

That's strange, @GregFlowers. Do both audio files you uploaded share the same filename?

They have different file names

Ok - have you tried deleting one of them from one of the posts, adding a new audio element and file, then updating the blog post?

I've just noticed this happening on my site too. Clearly a fix to the code was never executed, going by the dates on these posts...
