Frustrated with blog editing

I spent the better part of an afternoon writing several blog posts and am annoyed by how kludgy the Weebly blog editor. Sometimes, after uploading a photo, I realize that I'd rather post a different one. Upon deleting the photo, I find that the editor also deletes the text block above the photo! This happened several times today, forcing me to rewrite entries that I had spent a lot of time on, adding links, etc. That's the new problem for today.

An ongoing problem has been that when I add captions to photos, their justification changes. Usually I center my photos, but after adding the caption, they end up appearing to be left justified. The dialog box still indicates that the photo is centered, but it's not. Also, if you crop a photo, you can no longer change the photo size using WYSIWYG. You have to enter pixel sizes, which I don't have time for.

Hello @unspooledwi

When you remove an image from a image + text element you have to make sure that you do not delete the entire element and only mouse over the image. This way the text will remain there and you will not delete anything you wrote. Usually I just end up dragging the image out of the image + text element so that I can delete it by itself. It is much faster and far less stressful than it is no navigate carefully over the image and try to find the right specific delete option.

As for the the problem adding captions, From what it sounds like you are experiencing an image justification error when adding a caption. It turns it from center justified to left justified. I would need a little more imformation on this and I am going to private message you about this.
