Facebook comments not showing

I am using Facebook comments on my blog posts.

I see I have the option to post comments given in the site at the facebook page.

However, I would expect that the comments written at the facebook page would also appear in the blog, in order to keep a consistent discussion - that is NOT happening.

Am I missing something?

Actually I think I am missing the whole way these comments work. Or they are missing me.

This is the situation:

1. My site is connected with my Facebook Page - everytime I write a new post, I share it on that page.

2. When someone comments on the site, he can press that checkbox "Share it on Facebook" (how do I make that the default?) and I would expect that his comment would appear in the same item at the site's Facebook page. Instead, it appears as an item on his own page, saying "XXXXX commented on an item" with a link directly to the website.

3. When someone comments on FB, I would expect that people reading the site would see his comment. It doesn't happen.

So what kind of connection is this ???

That would be expected share behavior, @HelioD - sharing it to their own profile would let all of their own friends see it and increases the reach of the comments on Facebook to more people.

Yes, what you say is true.

But wouldn't you expect his answer to appear also at the shared item in the site's FB page, so that the discussion can continue there? And the answers from the FB to appear at the site as well?

I see many sites that behave this way... and when I hear FB integration I would think that both items would become one, at least in the terms of the discussion...

If you were embdding a Facebook post on a page of your site I would expect that, but I don't since the comments are being made on a content outside of Facebook I'm not sure how they would handle displaying that.
