Double click to move from one page to another.

At my site, www.vigilantreader.com, to move from one page to another takes two clicks. Is that normal. why doesn't a sole click initiate the move?

Also, anyone reading this question is encouraged to visit my site and give me feedback on it's appeal and useabilty. I'm not a designer, but stumbled through with the help of this forum.

False alarm. I just checked again and the pages are changing with a single click.
