Disable Store Functionality

I am wondering if there is a way to convert a website set up as an online store to just a normal website. When I first made my site, I had the intention of selling online so I set up the online store functionality. Now I've decided to move away from e-commerce and the store functionality just gets in my way (opening to store preferences when I want to edit my site, having a tab I accidentally click on a lot, etc.). I would prefer not to redo my whole site to get rid of it.

Hi @oliverwalsh,

So every weebly website will have the "store" tab in the editor even if you're not building a store. What you can do if you want to remove all the products you can delete those from Store > Products, you can also turn off the shopping cart from Store > Setup > General > change "add to cart" to "buy now" this will remove the cart from the site.

If you're on a business plan or higher, I would chat in with our customer support to talk about switching to a lower more affordable plan.

that option definately isn't there anymore.
I removed all my items and my cart still shows up.

Go to Settings > Checkout > Advanced, and change your store mode option to "buy now" @rini (the location for this option has changed). That should remove the cart from your navigation.

I have downgraded my account about a month ago.  Is it that the setting i no longer there by design?  however i'm stuck with a cart button?

In your case, it would actually be Store > Setup > Checkout within the website editor. I went ahead and change the mode for you, though.
