Deleted page content/Tracking
Hiya
We recently had content from a page completly removed, is there a way to restore this/track IP of the person who did it? The page log in is set for a particular edit access only and it's shared by a handful of people.
Any suggestions would be appreciated

Hi @Frypan What is the name of the site and the page that was deleted? We can restore the page and provide the date/time it was deleted. Then you can compare the IP logins from your account page.

Hi @Bernadette
Thank you for the quick reply, much appreciated
Please don't laugh at the page, yes i'm a nerd! http://www.habboida.com/social-media-team.html
Where would I find the IP Logins? Or would that need to be actioned by the website owner himself?
Thank you again!

Click on your name in the top right corner, then Account>Login History. Although, it looks like it was content on the page and not the page itself that was deleted. Unfortunately, we very rarely can restore actual elements to a page. I'll do what I can, but I can't promise anything will come back.

Hey @Frypan. Sorry for the delay. I had to get confirmation, but the request to (try to) restore needs to come from the site owner. It looks like you have editor permission only. The email on file for the account begins with chandlertb@ if that helps.

@Bernadette thanks I can get the person with that email to comment on this thread if that's okay?
Did you manage to find the date/time the page was edited?

If the site owner posts here requesting the page be restored then we can do that. We don't have a way to see what time certain edits were made, though.

okay no worries, I see they've requested to delete their personal data from the page which means we're unable to see who made the changes as their IP has been deleted (assuming you're unable to provide further info?)

That is correct @Frypan. We wouldn't have any additional info to provide. Sorry about that!
