Deleted Text On Blog.

Hello I have been working on a blog post this morning. I went to add in a photo and didnt like it so deleted it but when I did it seemed to get rid of ALL my text!!

I am wondering if there is a way I can get the original draft back. I used to be able to access old drafts when using Wordpress platform but am not sure show to do it on here.

Help please!!

Hello! Sorry for the trouble.

We don't currently have a way to revert to earlier versions of a blog draft. I'm really sorry about that, I wish I had better news for you there.

Its something you should really look into getting, as I'm sure I'm not the only one this has happened to before.

You're not. It just happened to me except I wasn't deleting anything from the post. I hit Publish, and it only published the first section of my text. When I went back to the original tab to try again, the page refreshed and - POOF! - there went everything I had just written. If it had been a personal blog, I could deal, but this was a homework assignment that's due in an hour. I'm furious.

This has happened to me twice now. After hours of research and writing I finally get the post perfect and when I hit publish it refreshes the page and everything is gone. I submitted a request that blogs in process be autosaved every 5 mins just like on Word. I am glad that it is not just happening to me, well, I mean, that it is not my computer but something to do with the site and hopefully they can fix it.

Same this happening to me as well.  It really sucks that this is a business blog for me and I've just spent upwards of an hour writing, proofreading, and adjusting the post.  As soon as I deleted an unnecessary photo block, it deleted 1000 plus words from my post.  I'm starting to look to other platforms to host my business page/blog.

This really sucks.  I spent an hour writing on my blog, and then zip, it was gone.  You gotta fix this.  Even when I tried to hilight it, it vanished.  What the hell is that all about.

Sorry to hear that, Jerry. Did your post include any links? Did you make it with our desktop editor or one of our mobile apps?

There was no link and I don't know about the desktop editor.  How does that work?  Bear w/me I dlid not grow up w/ computers, and need them to be very user friendly.

happened to me too just now. It deleted the best part of my blog. It shows up before I publish, and then when I publish it magically disappears

This thread is pretty old, @kayobracey Were you editing on one of the apps or through the desktop/browser version?
