Delete text element on iPad

I am trying to find a reliable way to delete a text element using the weebly.com interface on an iPad. The instructions say to hover and click the X, bust there is no way to hover. I can sometimes get the text boxes to go away by furiously clicking near the place where the X should be, but this is time consuming. I don't have a desktop machine I can use right now.

Side note: I can't use the iPad app, because it no longer loads.

I don't have an iPad, but I recall some users having trouble using the editor in a browser on iPad in the past. Are you using it in landscape or portrait mode? Can you try switching to see if that helps?

Unfortunately that doesn’t seem to make a difference. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

What about trying to remove the app from the device and then reinstall? Can you confirm what model of iPad and os version you are using?
