Day specific blocks

Is it possible to have blocks displaying different data depending on the day of the week? I'm trying to find an efficient way to show a weekly radio schecdule (what's on today), currently I use a google calendar but I'm finding the page is loading very slowly with all the external calls I'm making.

Thanks for the reply - I had some problems accessing the App Centre the other day so I'll have another look (although I imagine that wold require an outbound call to the app anyay, same as Google Calender)
