Adding more columns is done in the same way as adding something into columns to begin with. Simply drag an element to the right or left of another until you see the vertical blue line, then release the mouse button. If you're dragging an element to the right or left of an existing columns element, you'll see the same blue line letting you know you've dragged it to the right place.
