Check header image dimensions for Clean Lines theme?

Hello,

I'm using the Clean Lines theme, and I can't find a way to check the header image specifications—AKA the aspect ratios needed for the various header types: tall header, short header, etc.

Searching other posts, I see evidence that some themes provide this info somewhere(?)

I'm using my own images (obviously) and all the resizing is driving me crazy.

Thanks for any tips.

@Hilcandoit:  It is little tricky, but you can do it.  Download a free utility extension called MeasureIt for firefox or chrome.

1. Use default images.  Use that utility to measure the height and width. Add about 100-120px on the height.

2.  If the default image is full width use a minimum of 1400px for width (1920 px is better for the image to show up on huge screens)

1920px will also create a much bigger file size which slow down the page load

You need to optimise for the size of screen most people use not the huge screens that a few people use

That's because Google likes speedy loads and it's more important to have a fast load time
