Can't edit site with iPad
I bought an iPad (6th gen) specifically to edit my Weebly website (community newspaper) while travelling. (I ordinarily use a Macbook Pro but choose not to travel with it.) I discovered that I can’t use the editor to drag new items (titles, text, etc) onto the page. I click on the text tool and try to drag it to a specific spot on the page, but it simply won’t work. This makes it impossible to add information to my newspaper. Strangely, if I add titles, text blocks, etc in advance on my laptop I can then make the updates on my iPad. Unfortunately, that doesn't work for me—I need to add text blocks as I see fit (I don't always know on what page updates will be made in advance, and sometimes I’m gone for nearly a week at a time).

Thanks for your reply. It's SO strange because there is a Weebly app in the Apple store. I downloaded it and naturally assumed that it would work with iOS devices!

Are you saying you cannot add the element while using the app? What (if anything) happens when you try to click the element and then drag into place? Does it move? Does it not drop into place? etc

Thanks for helping me out. I click on the element that I want to drag onto the page (title, text, image, etc) and it simply doesn't do anything. It's impossible to get it to “stay” on the page. So, although I can make changes to already existing posts, I can’t add new ones. That makes it hard to update my community newspaper.

You should be able to edit on you iPad as long as you are using the app and not going through the browser. For some reason browser edits made on iPad don't work out too well. Instead of clicking and dragging, can you try to click and long-hold on the element until it highlights, then try to drag it?
