Can't create 3rd website on my account and can copy existing website on my account!!!

Hello,

I'm super annoyed at the moment, I just wanted to create a 3rd Website on my account (as far as I know I can have up to 10) but it just doesn't work... Everytime I click on the "Add Website" button, a window opens that it wants to create a new shop (which I don't even want, I just want a basic website!) and then gets and error and says "something went wrong, can't create the new shop"...

Then I wanted to copy a website I already have, first I couldn't see the button "..." to copy it, then finally when it showed up I copied the page and when I clicked on the new page to change it, I again get an Error and after that the newly copied page is gone from my account.

I deleted all my cookies, changed browers and even my Windows PC to my MacBook but everywhere the same issue so it can't be an issue with my setup...

Fix this please! I need to create a new website for a friend who needs it.

I now created a second account just to see if the same problem occurs and there is absolutely no problem, the thing is the Dashboard pages of the old and the new account look completely different...

Sorry for the trouble, @Albireo20. It looks like this happens when an account has no sites of its own (the two sites listed where those that you are an editor of and not the site owner - this is also why you didn't see a copy site option).

You had a deleted site, so I restored that, selected it, and then tried the option to create a new site which worked. You'll see both the restored site and blank site I added listed in the list of sites for your account now.

THANK You but that is actually weird, I thought the "MEINE WEBSITE" Page was my own page, did I by accident create it in another account o_O I know that the second page is from a friend and I'm only the admin but the other page should have been mine, that is really weird 

but I still can only create shops when I click on "add website" I actually want a completely normal site, why can't I choose between shop or no shop like I could on the second test account I created?

also why do the dashboard look different in my two accounts?

A store site and non-store site all have access to the same features; the only real difference is the steps we walk you through during creation and what we pre-populate. You can still use all of the usual site-building features and not use any of the store features with the new site.
