Background image in header with Parallax effect activated appears zoomed in.

Hello All,

As per the subject, I when applying a background image on the header section using Parallax mode, the image appears deeply zoomed in. When switching to Reveal, the image appears at its true size.

I tried changing the size of the background image, but I still can't get it to look normal. How do I use Parallax without distorting the background image? Or how do I fix this error?

Thanks!

Hmm... That's strange, @impulse101. When you say you are changing the size of the image, are you doing that on your computer and re-uploading or from within the editor?

After uploading the image, i activate parallax effect the  i check the behavior in the editor, on chrome desktop then my mobile.

I was wondering if there is a standard image size that is ideal for parallaxing? It's odd though that the image looks perfect without Parallax.

Can you post the url to the page where you are seeing this?

Hi Bernadette, sorry for the late reply. I was out on a holiday.

I changed the resolution of my image to about 2000+ pixels both width and height and it behaved a bit better. Also, I just found out that Parallax effect looked more dynamic in other websites. It seems like Weebly only freezes the background image.
