Can any bright spark suggest how I can add an image background to a blog page?
All the pages on my site have the same background, so for the blog to be white looks strange.
Thanks in advance!

It looks like #content-wrapper is the ID you want to use for just the content area of the blog:

What is the URL of your blog page, @Stargazer? It might help to look at that on the live site.

Hi Adam,
Thanks for your response.
The website isn't live yet, and we wouldn't publish it until we were happy with it.
The issue is quite simple - where you can set the background image for a section on the other pages, there doesn't seem to be that functionality on the blog.
It's a Weebly Designer site, so we're not allowed to access apps.
We are wondering if there's some CSS to enable us to achieve what should be a fairly simple task.
Thank you.

Ok. There is although the specific CSS rule might need to be added.
You're going to want to add or change the element that has the white backound using the background-image CSS property:

Hi Adam,
Thanks so much for your help on this.
I've figured out the correct code with the URL, and have tested it on various elements with success. However, I can't find the element that corresponds to the main blog content.
I have been able to change the background of the blog sidebar and the archive areas, but not the blog itself.
Would you be able to have a look at our preview and suggest which element I need to be looking for?
[Url Removed]
Thank you!

@Adam I can't seem to find this on the Birdseye theme (in blog.less) Our blog background is black and would like it white.
Would changing this work?
&:focus {
background-color: @shade;
border: 1px solid fade(@fill, 40%);
or
&:hover {
background-color: fade(@fill, 20%);
}
span {
background: none;
Any suggestions very welcome, thank you!

Those rules only happen when the element that uses them is in focus or being hovered over. What's the address of your site? It's probably just a different ID or class in the code than what was in my screenshot.

I have your CSS background-image property link.
I am trying to understand how I am to use it to employ an image I commissioned from Fiverr. Could you help me out so I know what I am doing?
I do have to comment that it would be nice to be able to easily change the image background of the blog page without having to get into the computer jargon, because the average person who is going to be using Weebly to host their website is not going to understand this.
