I have found a way - use the Powr Form, add reccuring payment, and manually submit to the member directory.

Hello,
As far as i know this isn't possible with only .HTML.
.HTML is only for the base of a webpage Functions are done with Javascript or with .PHP.
You should add JS or make it with .PHP.
Of course you could search on internet for a widget and install it easy on your site.
Regards,

You could use Sentry Login https://www.sentrylogin.com for your membership, it lets you create PayPal plans, Stripe plans, and also free plans.
It works excellently with Weebly.
I used to use Weebly's built in membership system but went back to Sentrylogin because I hated Weebly's system, and besides that, by using Sentry I'm not stuck using a Weebly website forever, if I want to switch to WordPress or Yola or Squarespace, I just change three settings in my Sentry account and wala, I'm switched over.
Pretty cool.

Sentry Login is amazing! I'm using the trial right now for a site I'm launching on November 1, and so far it's great! Thanks for that advice! I looked for a long time for an inexpensive, easy solution, and so far it's the best!

You've given me an excellent lead, Cynthia. thank you! If you have a moment, I would love to know:
1. Exactly HOW Sentry Login administers/integrates a paywall before enabling a new user to create login credentials? I've perused their site, but don't see this. I'm interested in a recurring subscription system with PayPal or Stripe, so this would only need to occur once for my purposes, at the point of account creation.
2. Does Sentry Login allow (or require) password specifications (such as "minimum of 8 digits, at least one number, at least one character, etc)?
3. Lastly, it would be very helpful to know what you hated about Weebly's native membership system that made you go back to Sentry Login.
Thank you so much for sharing your insights.

Actually, Sentry Login announced that is now Free forever to Weebly users.
All you have to do is contact them from their contact page and prove your site is at Weebly, and they'll create your account. It is a permanent account and will never be billed.
https://www.sentrylogin.com/sentry/contact.asp
It's way, way better than the Weebly membership feature. And it's free.

This promotion is now over. No longer free for weebly users. Seems like membership isn't a viable option with weebly. Making people pay a monthly subscription to build a site with weebly then wanting to charge an extra ~$30 per month for membership capability isn't a viable option. I used wordpress for a long time, happy to pay $30 as a one time fee for plugins, not happy to pay a monthly subscription for it also though. by the time the site is up and running it will cost around $100 per month.

Hi,
Maybe this app would also be a solution for you, it's called Sell2Member https://www.weebly.com/de/app-center/sell2member.
Using this app would be less work for you since you would add your members manually.
It's pretty basic but usefull. When a customer buys a product in your store, for example a 3mo membership, this user will get immediate access to a chosen group. The App even kicks expired members out of the group, everything automated.
Hope that's helpfull for you too!
Dominic
