Any way to embed specific blog categories into non-blog pages?

I'm seeking a way to show news related to specific categories on pages that are otherwise static, e.g. in a sports competition where Team 1 is tagged as the category 'team 1,' I'd like to be able to embed their news on the static page elsewhere on their website that features their logo, roster, photos, etc. Is this possible? I guess I'm just looking for a URL that presents a blog category cleanly without all the noise around (site header/nav, sidebars, etc.).

Thanks for posting, @toomuchrugby. I would check the App Center to see if there's something there that will do what you need. There are a few different blog-related apps; it's possible one might do something like that.

Hi @Adam

I already checked the app center and didn't see anything that was capable of doing what I'm looking for. The blog apps seem focused on improving blogs on the blog page(s) of a website, not parsing the blog capabilities across multiple pages from a single blog source within the site.

Ahh, ok. Maybe you could find a widget if you search Google?

I've tried searching everywhere, which is why I've now turned to this forum. Getting the proper feeds in order to do this wouldn't be difficult - it's getting a feed with the rest of the site elements stripped out (e.g. the header, menu, etc.). RSS is too simple and strips the formatting, so that doesn't work either.

Overall, if we look at the elements of a page and say the actual blog roll/feed/whatever is in box X but the page also has four other boxes, I'm just looking for the way to take box X and show it on another page. The only ways I can do so now involve embedding in a way that duplicates the header, etc.

Can you please post a link to the page you are trying to feature so we can get a better idea of what you are trying to do?
