Any way to add Vimeo as a background video?
is there some way to add streaming video, such as from Vimeo or YouTube, as a video background, either directly or through some sort of an App, preferably without having to go into the code of the theme?
I find that videos that have been uploaded to Weebly don't ever play as smoothly as the same video playing on Vimeo, especially at resolutions that hold up to today's high-resolution displays (videos that are 720P and higher).

Making an externally hosted video into your background without uploading it can be something that would need some custom coding, though we do have some video apps available in the App Center that could suit your needs as well. I'd definitely recommend checking them out!

Well, I did of course hope to find an App that could serve this purpose, but none of the free ones seemed to address this need of mine and the paid ones were mostly out of my budget (many are subscription based) so that I didn't bother to dig deeper.
Do you know of a specific App that would serve this function, preferably one that isn't a subscription or one of those "per site" Apps?
As far as "custom coding" goes, do. you think it's something that requires deeper knowledge of - for example - JavaScript and/or PHP, or merely some changes to the CSS and HTML mods? I mean, in theory inserting a layer that embeds a streaming video could possibly work (not that I personally would be able to do that without significant investment of r&d time, which I don't have) but we all know how problematic code changes to themes can get when upgrading or - God forbid - changing themes.
Any specific pointers to a particular App or modification would be greatly appreciated!
