Adjusting the header/top menu

I have removed a page and amended the name of another but the top menu bar is not updating. how do I do this?

I think your site navigation is hardcoded into your custom theme, and not being added the normal way through the pages tab. You'll need to update the HTML of your theme to reflect the page changes, or switch to a standard theme so it generates the navigation menu automatically.
