Adding gallery image in middle

When there's a gallery of pictures, 3 or more....

If I want to replace the 2nd or 3rd image,

all the other images in the row have to be replaced.

Is there some workaround?

Even if I'm only replacing the first image, this holds true.

Or am I missing something?

Even though the images do reposition themselves after you delete one you are still able to drag and drop any/all of the images, changing their order to whatever you want.

I have not been able to drag and drop images from left to right, right to left or any other way

within the editor

That is strange. I'm currently building a site with 1200+ images in 20+ galleries and all images in all galleries readily drag and drop for repositioning. Are you using the standard Weebly gallery element?

Yes. Using the weebly standard gallery element.

Trying to drag and drop from within the images doesn't work

Did not see a way to drag from sides or corners

Got it!

Drag and drop works now.

Problem was, when I tried dragging and dropping initially, 

Caption and Alt Text were getting in the way.

Got it working now!

Pffffffffffft  I'm such a dunderhead
