Adding Audio Files and Player
I am using the Weebly free site for a community band's website. Our conductor has asked me to explore the possibility of adding some audio clips of the band's concerts.
I can't find much information in the Help section that describes the steps necessary to add a basic music player and upload a few audio tracks.
Can you point me in that direction?
Thanks --
Jeff

Thanks for posting, Jeff. We have this guide in our support site on using the Audio element:
https://www.weebly.com/app/help/us/en/topics/using-the-audio-player-element
We also have third party solutions in the App Center you can check out: https://www.weebly.com/app-center/search/audio

I did see this article when researching the matter, but we do not use Weebly Pro at the moment. I will investigate this option and the cost to our organization (which has a very limited treasury).
Is it safe to assume that there is no audio feature available for the Weebly "basic" software?
Thanks, Adam

Not a problem. Since the Audio element is Pro and higher, we don't have an option for a free site. It looks like some of the apps have free versions (with branding or a limit to the number of tracks), so depending on your needs they might work without paying anything. You could also do a Google search for embeddable audio players that you could use with the Embed Code element.

I have a specific requirement to show a potential customer that they can play music from a site and bluetooth to an external speaker. Since I have no access to a site with a Pro plan to test any of the audio players (third party or not) and the customer isn't going to pay anything until proven it is fit for purpose, Weebly is loosing out by not being able to provide a testbed. This is annoying as they loose money and I loose a customer. Thanks for that!
Happy to hear other ways to prove this will work for them!!
