Add hyperlink to item description?

Am sure I'm missing something basic here, but am really stumped.

In the "Edit Item" section, when I attempt to add a hyperlink to the description, the question-box-popup says I can add links in the website editor after I select save and view... So I save the item details... Does that take me straight back to the "website editor", or is the "website editor" a different interface? I just want to add some hyperlinks to my item description.

Thanks for your post, @nodable. That text actually refers to a behavior only possible in the older website editor. If you want to add in links to the description, you'll need to stop syncing item descriptions to Square since links are not supported in item descriptions in your Square account. It looks like you already figured that out, though.
