Accordion problem...

I'm with this problem ...

The accordion app, at the click of the mouse, should be left open for text input or anything, however, the component opens and closes immediately. I am unable to edit the page on my site because of this little problem. How to solve it?

Hello Adriano! That definitely does sound unusual. You should be able to click the symbol on the right of each section to expand it normally. What page are you seeing this on? We'll take a look as well.

So this problem really is not common, what makes it even more unusual is the fact that it only occurs on one of the pages of the site.

In the layout for the user ie in the published page, the error does not occur, occurring only in the editing of the page. I use Accordion in other sections of the site without any problem, however in that particular page ...

I get this problem all thee time atlease 10 times in a  8hr day. i usually add a box .. increase the number of items and the decrease the number of items by 1 and it works... but i am here too , which means today it refuse to open sigh ...

It looks like the issue may be related to the Tabs app in place there as well. If you're able, I'd definitely recommend getting in touch with live support, as they'll be able to run a few more detailed tests with you there to clear things up.

I am facing similar issue today and it is not limited to one page but all pages while editing it.

I also tried it keeping it out of tab but the problem persists.

Any other suggestion?

I'm having the same problem. The accordion doesn't want to expand.

The page has one accordion with categories, and that one opens for editing with no problem. The elements within most of the tabs load and can be edited.

Under one tab, there's a sub-accordion with three tabs, each containing a number of audio elements (more than 20) and all three of these tabs try to open, but snap shut almost immediately. I cannot edit anything in them.

This only started hapening within the last couple weeks.

The website works fine. The accordion menus open and the audio content can be accessed. It's just the editor that has the problem.

I have tried on two different computers, and three different brands of browser. All have the same behavior.

We are experiencing the exact same issue. It was noticed last week. Occurs on more than one page (in Edit-Mode). On the consumer (Published) side, accordions function normally.

*edit: I'd like to add that our accordions are mostly single units, not in groups.

I found a temporary solution to the problem of not expanding the Accordion ...
I copied the Accordion to another page and deleted the original. On this page where it was copied, it expands normally. I made the necessary edits and sent it back to the original page. I hope I have helped with this temporary solution.

It is not yet possible to edit the Accordion data on the original page, only in the form I have exemplified above.

Ok, thanks for the update. Our engineers have identified the cause and are working on a solution.

Is there any solution to this yet? It is still snapping shut before it can be edited. I haven't been able to change anything in a month!

I've asked for an update today but haven't heard yet @wayne_m, unfortunately. I don't know if this will work, but try copying the accordion element to another page and editing that one. That was working for one person who had a problem (they then deleted the original and moved the copy back to the other page).
