Sitemap.xml doesn't include our homepage

I saw a note in Google Search Console mentioning that our homepage, https://thornhillschool.org/, is not part of our sitemap.

I'm using the sitemap auto-generated by Weebly at https://thornhillschool.org/sitemap.xml, and as far as I can tell, there is no way to modify that file from my end. Is there a way to get the homepage included?

I also have problem with sitemap home page not included. I do not understand the above answer.  Google states that all important pages should be include in sitemap. Home page seems like it is important.

Hi, @rora.

Your site map should be included - it will be the page called "index.html". That file name isn't shown when you're viewing your homepage, but that's the page.
