Keyword from 1m results to 60 - Website not actually ranking - Previous issues | pissgaming.zone
Everything is copy-pasted from GSC, Google Search, etc. Copy-paste should work on your end too for testing. My problem is that GSC shows some keywords as rank 8-35 on Google search, and they should be great keywords, but they aren't acting normally and my site often isn't where it "should be".
I think the issue is that the issue of "duplicate content" caused by Weeby (which should've by now all been sorted if I had fixed it properly) and its limitations. My thread here: https://community.weebly.com/t5/SEO/Weebly-mixing-up-links-for-keywords-subpages-messed-up-etc/m-p/2...
The keyword I will use as an example is "shaco runes" - here are some stats
- About 1,010,000 results (0.34 seconds)
This is what I see only on the first page of the results for the keyword. On page two and up (if there are any "up") from there, the following:- Page 6 of 60 results (0.41 seconds)
- My site isn't at the rank GSC says it should be at (it has gained 27 impressions from it, though)
The website I am hoping to rank is pissgaming.zone - the keyword focus (for this post) is "shaco runes" - the page is https://www.pissgaming.zone/league-of-legends/shaco-s11-build-titled-z5z-shaco-optimized-lol-build
The problem (I think) is no canonical tags option, blog posts & categories all being the same content just across the website / different URLs.
Any help would be appreciated. I tried to include more info this time than in the thread prior - linked at the start of this post. This is a huge problem right now I think, as the website is in a critical growth stage.

Hi again, @AK_ACve. What is it you are looking at in GSC? I'm not super familiar with what it is you're describing in Google's search console.

It's the keyword - Google Search Console says I rank for it, shows 1m results on a search for "shaco runes" but clicking on the pages after the first couple shows less results (and not my website at all).
I'm wondering what the problem is here, like some kind of shadowbanned keyword that has been used for spam.

Hmm. I'm not sure and I don't know much about that. @whitemonkey, have you ever compared what Google shows for keyword searches in Search Console with what you see when you actually search Google?

Hi Adam. Thanls for the thumbs up.
Tbh I have better things to do than worry about keywords..... i have 280 pages..... some sites have 3000 pages.... how are we meant to keep up with Googles ever changing algo? An impossible task in my opinion. I do my SEO based on what I would google for... and to hell with the consequences.... ) huge mistake.? My blog is a travel blog with great logistics.... but almost no one is travelling... organic search is doomed just now what ever i try and do..
@AK_ACve in my opinion, ur page url as linked in ur comments is a mess... it is far too long, urls re best kept to a certain length, be concise and EASY for google to read...
