Google indexes http but not https

Hi team.

I turned on https as soon as I finished publishing the site and bought the domain. However, Google is indexing the http version of the website instead of the https version even after I submitted the sitemap with https links.

Recently, the ranking of the site dropped from top 5 to 50.

What do I need to do for Google to only see the https version of the website instead?

I am having this issue with many of my websites, and would like to avoid this problem for future sites.

submitt the sitemap.xml again   and wait... you cant hurry Google...  

when i got mine, i was https  with the dot weeby dot com   then i bought a plan and then the domain.. weebly redirected it automatically..

did u get the google search console with the https address??  and paste that into the Settings on Weebly?
